What’s the WyckWyre Buzz?

This is really the first time I have formally utilized WyckWyre and I have been impressed.  I am very pleased with how the process has gone so far.  In terms of how much time I have spent processing the applicants it has more than saved me the… investment in my time alone.  Thanks!! -Scott (Huntsville Golf Club, PA)

The organizational aspect was great, and most of all we loved that it made our company look VERY PROFESSIONAL.  The professional look is probably what will draw us back more than anything in the future.    D. Daniele

Great video! In 2 1/2 minutes, I learned more about simplifying the hiring process than in all my years of employment. Ike L.

The best part was how fast people were weeded out. The restaurant business demands you to play every role and I don’t have the time it takes to look for employees the old way. I’m not sure I would even have time to send rejection letters. This makes me seem much more professional than I really am! To only deal with the qualified applicants makes my life a lot easier. This is the part of the job I hate the most, now you need to develop software to fire people easier. Meg K.

Press Release May 10, 2010

With the restaurant industry turnover rate at 113%, hiring has become a full time job for restaurant managers, ultimately taking them away from adding value to their business. Fortunately, restaurant hiring is changing thanks to Wyckwyre.com. WyckWyre saves it customers, time and money by filtering the flood of applicant responses and delivering only the most qualified candidates.

Traditionally, restaurateurs, when searching for help, stick with what they know and post they’re opening on an Internet job board or possibly the old-school method, paper-plate help wanted sign in the window.

The inherent problem with this is the large investment of time, money and energy that must be made in order to now sort through the flood of responses to identify, contact, interview and hire a qualified candidate.

Restaurateurs that have used the system say that the efficiency that the WyckWyre applicant processing system brings to the table, is worth its weight in gold. “We’ve been in their shoes and know first hand that the constant employee turnover equals a hit to their bottom line” said Julie Lovelass, WyckWyre.com Administrator. “We knew there had to be a better, more efficient way to hire.”

At its basic level, WyckWyre charges customers per each job post. The cost of this service starts as low as $189. WyckWyre.com offers group pricing based on the type of position being posted, therefore, making it cost effective to hire for any and every position within a restaurant. There are no fees for the job applicants.

What does a restaurant get for all this?

“The return is really in efficiency, ” said Lovelass. “As the restaurant uses the system for a few hires they begin to see a pretty significant time- savings. For every minute these guys spend dealing with hiring headaches they’re not doing the things that really grow their business and their bottom line takes a hit.”

WyckWyre.com has also started their new internal blog page and social media pages (Facebook/Twitter), which will become a hub for restaurant management discussion and insight.
